Jeff Hantman

Jeff Hantman assembles wood that is left at the side of the road waiting to be hauled away to use in his canvas. He is drawn to wood that has endured time and weather, with dry cracking paint and oil stains. These findings tend to be playwood scraps piled at a construction site or salvaged from a house. With these materials he creates sections of these weathered outdated structures and expanse.
